I bought this after using gradar lite for a while. I wanted the radar forecast feature. It seems accurate, and the map is great. This app can be slow to load and work sometimes, they could improve that.

Great display; great presentation; however weather is 30-50kms off compared to actual weather. some other apps are slightly more current actual weather.

Very useful, one of the best I have seen

The interface could stand improvement but the maps work well and I find myself using it often. Its map just predicted rain would stop in my area within 10 minutes and it was exactly right.

This app is a great but as a golfer it is a very handy tool. Checking the g radar before starting a round can show any incoming precipitation; you can calculate when it will arrive and how much rain you can expect to receive. The detail and accuracy is great. I love the app and use it frequently.

Generally very good. Abit slow in compiling the sequencing images.

Only problem is when you open the app the radar returns are in the wrong place. They are displaced. You have to move the map with your finger to get them to reset. Also would be nice to have Doppler products for Canadian radar sites. Can be slow to grab most recent radar image.

This a great app. My wife was at an outdoor graduation ceremony, under threat of thunderstorms. With gRadar she could see in real time where the weather and threat was. Animate lets you see the direction and speed of weather, so you can judge whether you will be affected. Great App!

Very effective app. Ive always envied my American cousins and friends in the US Mountain West. Their smartphone weather maps show an approaching storm with details over the next mountain or valley. Despite anlarge and costly bureaucracy, the Canadian Govt weather service is no where near as sophisticated. I needed a weather map app that showed weather developing on both sides of the Canada/USA border. Time and time again Environment Canada will report that all is clear or variable cloud, only to have this app show a thunder cloud or snow storm arriving from the west or south. Overall, this app is quite effective. It can initially be a bit difficult to understand the settings, and occasionally the radar does not seem to show on the map despite weather action. But in general it is more effective than most apps out there.

I have been using this app for over a year now and have found it invaluable. It allows you to accurately predict rain fall amount and timing at the location you are at. It is even accurate enough that I managed to do some painting on the exterior of my house during a rainy week by looking at the radar to predict whether I had enough drying time before the next system moved in. I also teach weather to high school students and find this app allows students to truly understand the meaning of precipitation chance percentages. They can see that 30% of the area is getting rainfall even though there is no rain fall where they are. The only issues that this app has is slow load times and it requires a significant amount of signal to function. It is rarity to get much functionality away from a wireless network. I spend a significant time canoeing in the summer and would love to use this app in a wilderness situation. I would recommend this app to any weather enthusiast it is the best I have found yet. Well worth the cost.

The best app of this type! My go to for weather radar

Ive used it for a while now and its very useful to determine whether to call an event because of rain. Pretty easy to see bad weather coming. Thanks for a great weather app.

Love this app. Use it every time I go to the golf course.

Half my apps dont work since the new update. And this is one of them. Dont buy until they say its iOS 8 ready if not dont bother. Good work to all the apple team on screwing half my apps. And the app developers well Im not impressed either.
